What is the Czech e-Vignette?

Since 2021, the Czech Republic uses an electronic vignette (e-vignette) system for highways and expressways. The old sticker system has been abolished. Vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes must purchase a valid vignette before using toll roads.

Validity Periods & How to Buy

  • Available durations: 1 day, 10 days, 1 month, or 1 year.
  • Valid from chosen start date until 23:59 on last day.
  • Purchase online or at authorized sales points (e.g. gas stations).

Where is a Vignette Required?

A vignette is mandatory on Czech highways and expressways. Certain short sections near borders or exits are toll-free.
